A Strategic Balance

It was easy to find inspiration when a client’s core mission is asking “what if?” Doner, a full-service global advertising agency headquartered in Detroit, MI and Assembly, a digital media agency, sought a firm that would find a strategic interior design balance between their Main Street identity and a work environment that will support artists, capitalists, strategists and creators. Faced with the challenge of creating a home for their newly blended in-person and virtual workforce, we continued our longstanding partnership and designed with purpose around dynamic meeting settings and organic engagements with colleagues.

The resulting space is warm and welcoming with flexible furniture, pinup space and places to ideate, create and convene. The workspace is filled with natural light and serves as a perfect retreat away from the activity.

This flexible workspace is where they can host a variety of meetings, client events, focus groups and internal staff functions. Unlike a traditional office, the space is designed for inspiration, innovation and agility allowing for optimized creative thinking. This allows the agency to bring in clients for shared idea sessions, increase community outreach and attract diverse talent.

The design is in the details.
