The new home for Dwellworks’ Cleveland office was once an F.W. Woolworth department store. The 30,000 SF renovation of this building, comprised of two full floors at 15,000 SF each, entailed many complexities. While striving to convey the Dwellworks brand, it was also a goal to honor the building’s history by maintaining much of the original architectural integrity. Coordination of this project involved not only the design of the space, but work to support their application for historic tax credit compliance, design of custom graphics to be used throughout the interior of the space, exterior signage and furniture selection and coordination. The new Dwellworks branded space features numerous informal meeting spaces, conference space, office areas and a lunch counter to honor the original F.W. Woolworth Store.
