Vocon has completed a number of projects on behalf of Willis Group Holdings Inc., ranging from its Cleveland office to space in Bermuda and Canada. The design firm serves as the global insurance broker’s corporate architect, helping to set standards for all of its corporate offices, which include full visibility and transparency. While the dimensions can vary by location, the established look and feel are reflected throughout. Whenever possible, the inviting spaces place the private offices on the inside, situating low-panel workstations on the outside to allow for exposure to exterior window walls and natural light. The company has a “no door” policy, so private offices have glass fronts and no doors. Environmentally friendly workstation panels, carpeting and chair coverings are used.
