As a new concept in medical buildings, the Landerbrook Dental facility was a focused approach to provide dental practices of different specialties with their own medical facility. The goal was to maximize the building size, per city guidelines and consolidate a group of 11 dental practices that were all committed to this proposal. In meeting these objectives, Vocon designed the core and shell building systems using several design elements including a two-story aluminum and glass curtain wall, topped with an aluminum sunshade as well as chocolate and cream-colored burnished block masonry. Following the core construction, Vocon began individual tenant build-outs to meet the needs of all 11 practices that also allowed each tenant to have a unique interoffice layout housed within one comprehensive building.
