Long-Awaited Justice

For Cuyahoga County

Originally envisioned by the county in the 1990's, the $183 million, 630,000 SF facility at the corner of East 93rd Street and Quincy Avenue will finally open its doors in October 2011.

A shell of the court tower was quickly sketched onto the existing construction drawings for the detention center by Tyler-Jacobs, and the architecture and design firm of Vocon Inc. was brought on board to develop a design for what would fit inside the shell.
